
Veteran film actor Ramen Roy Choudhury, 75, breathed his last on March 18. The actor was suffering from cancer and kidney ailments. Ramen was admitted to a city hospital some time back, but returned home in better health couple of weeks before his demise. The popular actor, who played bit roles in movies like Abar Aranye, Kharij and Shet Patharer Thala, was a regular in commercial films and did movies like Badnaam, Sangee, Sudhu Ekbar Bolo, Chaowa Pawa, Dadu No. 1, among others.
