Yet, tragically for some stars who have shone since their young ages, the grim reaper still can come without invitation nor permission.

As devastated as their closed family and friends were, fans alike were immediately sent into shock and deep grief over the losses of those beloved stars. So before moving on to a new chapter in 2020 and without diminishing other lives lost this year, AceShowbiz dedicates this article to highlight some notable deaths of celebrities under 30 in 2019 which left profound impact to the related industry in particular and the world in general.

After undergoing surgery and chemotherapy in 2018, she was initially declared cancer-free. But later in the same year, her cancer returned and became terminal. The doctors told her she had a year to live. Revealing her bucket list which included touring and “eating all this absolutely delicious food,” she sadly didn’t have enough time to fulfill her wish. The 26-year-old football cornerback was gunned down by an intruder inside his Florida home and found lying on his back in the living room by his roommate, before being pronounced dead at the hospital. As no suspect was arrested within the first 24 hours, his father demanded someone be held accountable for the “senseless” shooting. The former NFL player was remembered as a popular and standout player at Plant High School with “a very gregarious personality.” He was signed by the New England Patriots in 2015 and by the Cleveland Browns in 2016. The actor, who portrayed Luke Ross on Disney Channel’s comedy series “Jessie” in addition to starring in Disney Channel’s “Descendants“, died in his sleep at his home in North Hollywood. Following autopsy, his family confirmed that his “tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy.” Sabrina Carpenter, Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson and his “Grown Ups” co-star Adam Sandler were some of his celebrity friends who mourned his death, as his grandmother Jo Ann Boyce, called him “a shining star” and remembered his “loving nature.”

He suffered a seizure on the way to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery to treat the brain injury, but he lapsed into a coma and never regained his consciousness. He died four days later at 27 years old. While his family and friends were in grief, his opponent in the ring, Charles, expressed his regret after he knocked out Patrick. “Dear Patrick Day, I never meant for this to happen to you. All I ever wanted to do was win. If I could take it all back I would no one deserves for this to happen to them,” he posted on Twitter and Instagram.

A promising young ballet star who was once described as “the next Billy Elliot,” Jack Burns passed away at the age of 14. The cause of death was not immediately revealed, but he was reportedly found dead at his home in Greenock, Inverclyde and police did not treat the death as suspicious. A friend who paid tribute to him wrote, “He did not deserve the stuff he went through.” His friend’s rage was understandable as it seemed unfair for the talented dancer, model and actor, who also appeared on Starz’s popular series “Outlander“, to meet the end of his life while he’s still a teen.

He died around a year later, three days after his 27th birthday. The cause of death was not immediately revealed, but the former NFL player suffered from depression and was at one point involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital after trying to harm himself due to the pain of Josh’s death. In October, he opened up about his mental health struggles in an open letter and credited his daughter for giving him “that second wind of motivation.” But like many others dealing with mental health issue, George’s struggle was never really over until his sudden passing.

It was only six days after he turned 21 on December 2. While the cause of death has not been announced pending the results of toxicology tests, the “Lucid Dreams” hitmaker had opened up about his history of drug abuse.
