Coronavirus continues to keep families across the globe stuck indoors, and tragically the death toll continues to rise, with new celebrity deaths being announced each day. As it stands, these are some of the incredibly talented public figures we have lost to COVID-19.
Alexander Thynn, 7th Marquess of Bath, sadly died at the beginning of April. Lord Bath was admitted to the Royal United Hospital in Bath on 28 March but sadly died of the virus a few days later, aged 87. A statement released by his family read: “The family would like to express their great appreciation for the dedicated team of nurses, doctors and other staff who cared so professionally and compassionately for Alexander in these extremely difficult times for everyone. They would politely request a period of privacy to deal with the loss.”
Alexander was a politician, artist and author, and leaves behind children Lady Lenka Abigail Thynn and Ceawlin Thynn, Viscount Weymouth, and wife Anna Thynn, Marchioness of Bath. His daughter-in-law is former Strictly star Emma Weymouth.
