Harry Brant had shared a heartbreaking final post on social media just one week before he tragically died at the age of 24.
The son of Peter Brant and supermodel Stephanie Seymour, Harry is believed to have suffered an accidental overdose from prescription drugs on Sunday, according to the family’s statement to the New York Times.
While Harry had been quiet on social media for over almost week, his most recent post featured the model smiling as he shared a happy moment with Miley Cyrus and French stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele.
In the throwback post, that he had shared with his 119,000 Instagram followers, Harry, Miley and Carlyne appeared in high spirits as they huddled around a phone.
Harry had shared the photograph to mark Carlyne’s birthday, and penned a touching birthday tribute alongside the snap.
“Happy belated birthday to the queen CARLYNE!!!” he had written.
He added: “The Dauphine francophile with eternal style.”
Since news of his death, the post has also seen a flood of tributes pour in for Harry – as his friends and fans reeled amid news of his tragic passing.
“I cannot believe you are gone. You were such a beautiful prince. I miss you so much. You were always an elusive chanteuse but this final act is too much bare,” penned one friend.
Another friend wrote: “Love you forever! You will be truly missed.May your beautiful soul Rest In Peace.”
Harry’s family confirmed the heartbreaking news that the socialite had died at the age of 24 after an accidental overdose from prescription drugs.
He had reportedly struggled with addiction for some time.
In a statement, his family wrote: “We will forever be saddened that his life was cut short by this devastating disease.”
“He achieved a lot in his 24 years, but we will never get the chance to see how much more Harry could have done.”
Harry leaves behind a legacy as a style icon as well as having founded a unisex make-up line for Mac alongside his brother.
As a model, he had walked for Balmain and even appeared in Italian Vogue.
According to the New York Times, Harry was due to head to rehab within days.
